The Bean Tree Cafe
Paul is the Theatre and Festival Events Coordinator for The Bean Tree Cafe, Bristol. He both co-produced & co-designed the socially distanced, Covid-safe seasonal events 'Outdoor Spooky Spooktacular' and 'Yule Be Merry: Festive Family Fun' for The Bean Tree Cafe in their gated sensory garden for 2020.
'Outdoor Spooky Spooktacular' was presented in October and consisted of a performance of 'The Pumpkin Bumpkins' about eco-activist pumpkins, Gourdon & Melonie, on a mission to encourage humans to take the pumpkin pledge and by doing so vow to limit their vegetable waste over Halloween. Taken from Brave Bold Drama's Halloween-themed, storytelling show 'Sticky Ends: The Spooky Edition', the performance was followed by a Halloween-themed treasure trail in the sensory garden.

In December 2021 Paul will co-produce 'Yule Be Merry: Festive Family Fun' which will be presented over five days and feature 'Yule Be Merry: Carefully Crafted Creations', a sketch based on two hapless event planners attempting to assemble the 12 Days of Christmas for a demanding client. Following this, attendees will journey through a trail to decipher clues based around the 12 Days of Christmas to uncover a secret sweet treat.
