Paul is the Artistic Director of Frenetic Fox Productions which; develops new writing/devised theatre in collaboration with South West Artists; designs & facilitates community enagement projects and produces small to medium scale live events.
The debut show from Frenetic Fox Theatre ‘Appily Ever After’, was shortlisted in the Best Spoken Word category as part of The Greater Manchester Fringe (2017) and
developed as part of a residency at Weymouth College.
During 2020 the company were commissioned by Activate Performing Arts, as part of their Creative Communities in Quarantine micro-commissions fund, to respond to the impact of COVID-19 on communities throughout Dorset. The funding sought to engage those isolated from their family and friends and those who were unable to access pre-existing activities and networks. The company produced a sensory audio story centred around a ‘day at the seaside’ (Beside The Sea) suited to those living with dementia.
Frenetic Fox is currently developing their second show, provisionally entitled ‘Sub!’ which will debut in 2024, which explores themes pertaining to working class male identity, riot-mentality and abdondonment. The engagement strand of this project is part-funder by Dorset Council's Dorset Youth Fund.
